Results indicate visual similarity, not confirmed identity. A visually similar photo can belong to a different person, and an absent result does not mean a photo is unused. Open the source pages and judge the context yourself.
The optional Chrome extension is user-initiated. It runs only after you click the extension or choose its context-menu action. It does not passively monitor browsing activity or collect browsing history.
